Dryer Vent Cleaning

Lint builds up in more places than just your lint trap. Though your lint trap does a fairly good job of catching most of the lint that comes through, it is a good idea to have your dryer vent professionally cleaned at least once a year. The lint can build-up in places such as the interior dryer duct, the dryer vent and sometimes the dyer itself. Dryer vent fires can typically start with a build-up of lint blocking air flow, which can ignite when it becomes too hot!

Most common of the indicators of a need for service would include: your clothes not drying well or taking longer to dry, your clothes smell musty, or your clothes or the outside of the dryer are unusually hot to the touch.
